We started HISIGHTS in 2014 because we saw the same problem every year: international travelers arrive in China excited, and spend the first two days frustrated. Their payment apps do not work. They cannot read the menus. They do not know which tours are legit and which include forced shopping stops.

We built HISIGHTS to fix that.

Why We Exist

Inbound travel to China is growing fast — 42.5 million international visitors in 2025, and climbing. But the infrastructure for international travelers has not kept up. Payment apps require Chinese IDs. Restaurant menus have no English. Train tickets sell out before you can figure out the booking system. Taxi drivers do not speak English.

We fill that gap. Not by putting you on a bus with 40 other tourists, but by giving you a local guide who handles everything — so you can actually experience China instead of managing logistics.

Our Operating Standards

• Licensed guides — all guides hold CNTA certification and have minimum 3 years experience
• No shopping stops — zero tolerance policy. Your time is yours.
• Private only — we never combine independent travelers. Your group, your guide, your pace.
• China-based — our team is in Chengdu and Hong Kong. We answer at 11 PM Beijing time.
• Vetted drivers — every driver has commercial insurance, clean record, and GPS tracking
• 25/7 support — your guide is on call throughout your trip. Operations team backs them up.
