01 Arrive Chengdu — Gateway to the Mountains
Fly into Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. Private transfer to your hotel in the city. Rest and orientation for the journey ahead. Evening dinner in the city — a final taste of urban Sichuan before heading into the mountains. 02 Drive into the Minshan Mountains
Early morning departure by private car — approximately 3.5 to 4 hours into the mountains of northern Sichuan, following the Min River valley. The landscape changes dramatically as you ascend: terraced fields, gorges, and the first stone towers visible on distant ridges. Arrive at your guesthouse in the village area. Afternoon gentle walk to settle in, with initial introductions to the village and local hosts.

03 Village Walk & Artisan Meetings
A full day inside the Qiang village community. Morning walk through the stone lanes and watchtower district with a local guide — context on Qiang architecture, the function of the towers, and daily village life. Afternoon with local artisans: Qiang embroidery is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage — watch the work, understand the symbols, and optionally try a simple stitch. Evening meal prepared by your host family.

04 Mountain Trails & Traditional Ceremonies
